Beautiful and built like a tank, this lens is part of the first batch of the now famous �version 2� pre-aspherical Summilux 50mm. This is the Mandler design that lasted until from 1961 to 2006!
The lens is in beautiful shape, with clean and clear glass, great coatings, and clean aperture blades. The focus is smooth and the apertures click in perfectly. The lens was CLA�d by Fima Binder in NYC in January 2025.
There are very light signs of use on the lens barrel and hood.
Comes with new, slim UV filter, XOOIM hood with two different caps (snap-in and slip-over), and original rear cap. This lens shines on both film and digital.

Asking $1979, includes fees and insured CONUS shipping.

What a beautiful 50/1.4!This Fima did a great CLA job without leaving any obvious marks.

Is it possible to share Fima's CLA price? Sorry I was trying to search "Fima Binder NYC" and can't find anything useful info. Thanks in advance.

I don't know for sure, I'm just guessing, but I assume it refers to Fima that was at the now-closed Panorama Camera Center as referenced in this old post on rangefinderforum... https://rangefinderforum.com/threads/eddy-and-jerry-now-fima.117732/
