Folks, I’ve been reevaluating my Leica “problem” and decided to simplify some. So, selling off some gear and hopefully it will end up in good homes. I don’t know about others, but getting rid of Leica M gear is REALLY hard for me to do. These are all duplicates in my herd.
I would like to sell the following. All gear is in 9+ condition and all lenses are factory 6-bit coded (135 was coded by Leica after it was bought – but is Leica-installed, not an aftermarket flange). Forgive some bits of dust in some of the pics. Smudges shown on bottom of M11 are not scratches or surface blemishes.
$5900: Leica M11 black body (selling one of two that I have, keeping the other and I also have an M EV1). Has had very light use as I have several other Ms as well. I am under 1000 pics taken. Original box and all contents.
$1900: 18mm Super Elmar f3.8 – great ultra-wide with excellent colors. I have the 21 SEM and WATE, so this is doubly redundant. Caps, leather pouch, box. 6-bit.
$4100: 35mm Summilux ASPH f1.4 Close Focus – Current model. All original contents. 6-bit.
$2300: 135 APO-Telyt f3.4 – under-appreciated tele that has superb colors and sharpness. A few tiny, faint marks on hood, but looks almost new. I do not have the box for this one – just the lens and caps. 6-bit. Works wonderfully with the M EV1 by the way.
I strongly prefer F&F or other non-fee payment. This is NOT a fee issue, it's a tax reconciliation issue. Sales of gear via PayPal are considered a “retail” sale and, even if you lose money, you have to document that for the IRS. If you MUST use G&S, please add 3.5%. I use insured shipping.
Public service announcement – Leica prices going up soon (again).
