Thanks! The snow made for some fun images. Luckily I was chilling on my porch and avoided the mess myself!

bob nice images just wondering if you used the manual camera settings with the old adage of ITS THE SAME LIGHT WITH THE SAME SUBJECT SO ITS THE SAME SETTINGS ?

That’s my point: if the light is constant and the subject remains in the same light, why use Aperture Priority with Auto ISO? Once you’ve chosen the aperture and shutter speed needed for the wildlife, manual exposure will keep them consistent regardless of whether the background changes from dark trees to bright snow. Shutter Priority is also an option if maintaining a specific shutter speed is the main concern. I’m not saying Aperture Priority won’t work—I’m asking what advantage it provides in this particular situation.
