assorted bird pictures from chilly northern indiana. if you google sandhill cranes, they are supposed to be in the sunny deep south, even into mexico this time of year. these stay every winter here, which is a blessing to me because it makes my winter photography more enjoyable.

Nice pics Wendall. We're lucky enough to have Sandhills here in northern California all winter, as well. Although, we move away from Indiana largely due to the weather, so I'm happy to let you have all the snow and ice!
