Had the pleasure of spending a bit of time with this Great Blue Heron as it went looking for his meal. Love getting lost in watching all of this.
Thank you for looking and I hope you enjoy.

" When despair grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and children's life may be,
I go and lie down where the Wood Drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the Great Heron feeds
I come into the peace of the wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief
I come into the presence of still water
and I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting for their light
For a time I rest in the grace of the world
and am free."
Wendell Berry
Over the top set of images and again your signature processing and I say that with conviction, I've always thought your processing is magically. The poem was inspirational, something we probably all should give serious thought to.
These are wonderful. The lighting/exposure and spotlight effect on #3 is really special. I will have this in mind if I have an opportunity to create something similar in the future.
