For Sale: Leica M3 (1956) + Summicron 50mm f/2 (Rigid, close focus) + Leica Ever-Ready Case
• Body: Leica M3, serial 820335 (Wetzlar, 1956). Cosmetically clean/honest with normal wear; leatherette intact. Rangefinder/viewfinder presentable. Shutter/advance/counter operate; slow speeds are slower than they should be (a CLA will clean that up nicely, price factored in to my asking price). Film door pressure plate and ASA reminder in place.
• Lens: Summicron 5cm f/2 “Rigid, close focus”, serial 1593265. Aperture and focus move smoothly with proper resistance. Coatings and glass look good under room light—see photos for details. Mount couples correctly to the body. I don’t have the goggles for the close focus, but SKGrimes sells a nice adapter that can be used to engage close focus (if that matters to you).
• Case: Genuine Leica ever-ready case included; leather is worn with loose stitching but usable as a protective carry (see photos).
