I took these in my neighborhood last year. I'm not sure exactly what these are called but they are SHARP. Ask me how I know. 😁

Both are shot handheld with the 105 Macro.

Hi Joe Nice image with ladybug, nice job handholding too. Always liked the color combo on this thistle plant, magenta and green seem to work nicely together. Not a flower you'd pick without paying the price

I love the first one Joe. Revisiting those spikes when you get home to pull them out of your socks is the second half of the fun!

Either a Bull or Bristle Thistle would be my guess.
