Up for sale is my beloved 28mm Summicron. If you’re looking at this listing you already know the legendary status of this lens. The lens was serviced by DAG in 2023 (receipt to prove) and the lens has ALWAYS had a uv filter on the front. Front and rear elements are clean and clear, no haze or fungus. All of my Leica gear is kept in a humidity controlled dry locker in my office. The only thing to note, which it was this way when I purchased it a year or so ago, is that there are very small traces of oil on the back of the aperture blades. Very common, doesn’t affect image quality at all. I’ve tried my best to show it in the photos. Almost too small to even need mentioning but I don’t like hidden surprises and you shouldn’t either with this caliber of lens. Comes with Box, original square hood, beautiful aftermarket square hood, and all original paperwork.
