Nice shots! I don't see the Tamron 150-500 being used much but it seems like a nice option especially considering the price.

Thank you. It is a compact lens and since I was flying, I took it instead of the 600pf which I preferred, but was happy with the results.

Nice shots. Been to Ding Darling (and Sanibel) many times over the years. Corkscrew over closer to Naples is another great birding opportunity.

good selection of pictures of a variety of birds. it may have been cold down there by florida standards, but compared to northern indiana into michigan, it was probably almost balmy. glad you got to go and hope the rest of your trip goes well.

Thanks for sharing. I like how the curve of the fish mirrors the bird's neck in the first shot. How was the preserve? Well recovered from the hurricane?

The refuge and the area looked good. I did not see much sign of damage.

Thanks Morris. I did not at Ding Darling but did not get to look around Sanibel Island commercial areas, since we had limited time during the visit.
