Ok, it's time for me to ask you Dan. What is your photo about?
Sreedhar.
I wanted to enter something not instantly recognized as a "pair".
There was an "art" display at my local conservatory. Pieces of art were placed in various parts of the indoor greenhouse/conservatory...
This was a "pair" of art objects...I looked up the definition of "pair"..and saw this.."an article consisting of two joined or corresponding parts not used separately..." The key word for me was "not used separately"....The gold frame made the 2 separate art objects a "pair" , and "joined" ...enclosed (not used separately)by the highly ornate gold frame...making them "not separate."
My comment about "heirs v. pairs" was just a play on words.
Initially there were 2 nude clay busts of a man and a woman. I was going to use that "pair" but I found that although the busts (molds)are a "pair" they are separate and not "enclosed" with some confines(a picture frame).
It might not make any sense to others but in my "warped" olde mind...it was a pair.
The objects themselves were quite unique and made up of many separate parts that were "paired" with the 2 objects inside the frame.
Make sense Sreedhar? If not ...no worry...I am olde but not dead..yet. A long path to the posted image right?
You asked! ...That is FINE!!!

Dan, thanks for the detailed explanation. Very much appreciated. The reason I asked was, your word play. That definitely threw me off
Sreedhar.
Your request was fine brother! No problem. Happy to explain my "thought process", however screwed up it may appear to others..
I sometime like to add some humor into the forum and my posts.
