Bird in the Snow and Cold Weather
p.1 #1Bird in the Snow and Cold Weather
Hope everyone faired well with the weather. We got a couple of inches of snow and far too cold weather ! I love how quite the white blanket of snow silences the world.
Had a bit of fun with the birds, especially the pine warblers, while it was snowing.
I was very surprised to see the detail on the snowflakes on a couple of the shots !
Thank you for looking and commenting , I hope you enjoy my little outing in the snow and cold.

Very 'cool' collection Birdie. Great the way birds can fluff up for better insulation and look 2 to 3 times larger than normal.
You can keep the snow, though for photos it is better than rain, rain, and more rain.

Yes #4 does look sinister!! Love that shot
The colors look good against the steel cold bg. Nice to have some new elements to work with for you but I bet the cold is not an invited guest in your area
#6 is a nice example of how the subject does not need to be large in an image to be 'the subject'. Really a pleasing shot though a bit too centered for my taste
Love the drama of color for sure!!
Take care Roberta

Love the moody pictures. These small birds are so difficult to get good shots of. Very well done!!!

Really evocative set Birdie, I love the "snowkeh" balls in some of the backgrounds, heh.
