Our resident Bald Eagles are keeping an eye on their nest, as they will be making sure it is in good condition for nesting once again this year.

The Black Oystercatcher was preening while keeping an eye on local windsurfers taking advantage of strong winds.

Nice shot of the Black OC, Tony. And, good luck to your Eagles for a successful nesting season. Hopefully you'll see a couple of eaglets in the not too distant future.

Thanks Mark. This couple had two eaglets last year that died in the nest. You could see their condition deteriorate day by day.
It was probably Avian Flu they died from, perhaps brought to them from an infected bird they had killed.
