The UPRR Transcontinental Railroad adjacent to the Truckee River where it emerges from the Sierra Nevada Mountains at Verdi, NV The sun was in a bad position for the sky so its a little blown out.
Fascinating image. It takes a second to fully parse exactly what is in the frame, at least on a small screen. The textures and contrasts are so different for each layer of the image.

Starting to mess around with anamorphic stills on Nikon. Shooting a Sirui 75 in 16:9 and then desqueezing gives a 2.37:1 pano aspect ratio with a 50mm wide FOV horizontally and 75mm FOV vertically.
Yesterday in the cirque of the Winkelkar in the Zahmer Kaiser mountain range in Tyrolia, Austria. Challenging moutains all around, but very beautiful.
