Not for vanity—but to stay honest.
To test the light, the angles, the energy.
To remember how it feels to be the one being photographed.
Because if I’m asking someone to trust me with their image, I need to understand that side of the lens too.
Self-portraits keep me sharp, curious, and connected to the process.
