This marks a shift in my black and white work.
Less structure, more breathing room. Less explanation, more presence. I’m trusting simplicity and allowing the photograph to stand without performance.
Interesting and well spotted. I might be tempted to have the tree on the middle axis. Not sure. but the subject and texture, with the negative space, makes an interesting B&W.
