I hope the new year is treating you well and you are having a great time taking pictures at some of the best destinations in your own country or even abroad!
Here are a few shots I got while in Peru in 2025. I am thrilled to be traveling to Peru soon. I will try to improve some of the shots I've already taken, but I will also look to expand my life species list!
All images taken with Sony A1 and 600f/4, sometimes coupled with the 1.4X TC.
Thank you for your valued input!
Your hummingbird photos are stunning as always. I find the flash on the owls rather harsh. The photos look like it was dark yet if there is any ambient light you might try backing off on flash power and let the camera capture more of the background using ambient light and simply highlight your subject with the flash. This may require a long exposure and/or high ISO. Your Peruvian Racket-tail and Marvelous Spatuletaill are stunners.

Morris,
I appreciate your feedback but I have to tell you sir, it is very different taking pictures of owls in the daytime rather than at night time!
These three owl pictures were shot at night so the only light available is from my flash or torch!
