I bought this flash from Roberts Camera back in the day to test it against Godox V1. I don't shoot Nikon anymore so used it as a OCF. Then I upgraded my other flashes to Air2 units so I could see the power levels. This A1 has been sitting around for a while so I need to let it go to someone that will use it!!
Flash is in Good condition. 100% functional!!. There is a small rattle in the head not as if something is broken bouncing around. I've been using it this way for years so I don't know what it is. The newer A10 units also make a bit of noise when you shake them but it's a dampened. The A1 flashes had a complaint of the heads swiveling to easily with any weight on them. You can see in the photos that I put a thick rubber band so it helps keep the head steady when on camera. The battery is holding about 2/3 of a charge.
