Has anybody had an issue trying to physically connect the PW to the A1 multi-interface shoe?

Sony MMI shoe can take the traditional PW (plastic) foot but the seating is janky. Since only the center pin needs to connect, all is well as long as you don't fling your rig around. I believe PW offers an official adapter for MMI.

Has anyone successfully used either the Pixel TF-334 or the Vello HSA-SMPCS adapter on the Sony A1 multi-interface shoe with a Pocket Wizard transceiver to trigger remote flashes?

I haven't used any of those, but I cannot use my bowens trigger on any of my Sony bodies. I was not able to use any adapters that I tried. I finally found a work around my mounting the Bowens trigger on top of my Phottix Strato trigger.

I wanted to use the bowens trigger, which is single pin because it offers power control remotely, and supposedly allows you to highspeed sync the lights. I actually hyper-syncs the lights and it is nearly impossible to set up.

Ended up going with Profoto. The Connect Pro model works perfectly.
