Buyer beware: Dao sold a Nikon F3/T and 58mm f/1.2 Noct to me a month ago that was lost in shipping 2 weeks ago. After opening a claim with FedEx I was told the package was gone and the seller would have to open an investigation. I’ve sent several messages this week to Dao with no response from him, yet he has no issues posting items for sale or selling items currently. It seems Dao is quick to take other’s money, but has issues returning it when items they bought don’t appear. I strongly urge you to reconsider working with him.
I will take this message down when he honors his part of the sales practice and issues me a return, as I requested over a week ago.

Unfortunately Dao has not responded to any of my messages and I doubt he will, so I’ve come to my own conclusions. He most likely sent my camera and lens uninsured, and when FedEx lost the package, instead of returning my $4k to me, he decided ignoring me and committing embezzlement would be a better resolution.

I didn’t, only because we had worked together previously and I thought based on rapport I’d be safe. Huge mistake on my part. Thankfully I used a credit card and was able to dispute the charge. Lesson learned, always use PayPal G&S!!!
