I've been seeing many fewer small birds in the parks of North East Queens this winter. Possibly this has been caused by the Avian Flu yet what ever the cause it's cut down on the fun for me. At least I found these attractive birds at Kissena Park last week.
Comments and suggestions welcome,
Morris

Hopefully your missing birds is just because some people with generous winter bird feeding programs on the other side of town are keeping them all busy over there, heh.
Can't go wrong with red and blue colors in the Winter! Really some nice captures. #5 is a pretty one, what was the shadow from?
Colors look spot on, nicely presented!

Thank you Eric,
I'm still getting plenty of visitors to my feeders. These parks are quite big so I'd be surprised if it were people's feeders.
