p.1 #1 · Actual third party compatible batteries with A7Rv?

Hello
What are the third party batteries that are as of today fully compatible with the A7RV (no error message) that we can get on amazon (specially in Europe)?

I have these Smallrig batteries with USB-C, they are great and very convenient:

With firmware 3, I regularly got the nag screen, now with firmware 4 no message at all 😊

That is really good to know! I thought any third party batteries would rise a warning…

This. I prefer the smallrigs to the OE option.
Smallrig claim more capacity and this may be true, but I swear they are the same capacity as the Sony originals.

Anyone tried the K&F or Neewer batteries with the A7RV
We only have these 2 in my country, I could get the Smallrig later in a travel though

I bought two Neewer batteries about two months ago, my first time ever using third party batteries since starting Sony 12 years ago. I use them on A1II and A7RV, no error messages.

I've been using Neewer batteries with my Canon R5 for several years, and their performance is indistinguishable from the OEM batteries. This positive experience led me to use them for my new travel camera, the Sony A7CR, as well. In both cases, the Neewer batteries have performed flawlessly, holding a charge well and integrating perfectly with the camera's battery level indicators. The included charger is also a reliable workhorse, efficiently topping up both the Neewer and Sony OEM batteries without any issues.

I've tried all the USB C port ones and they all work well and mostly the same aside from small differences like the port placement.

Most recently I'm testing the K&F ones cause I like the white aesthetics with the port placement. I use them in conjunction with the newer Smallrig slim dual USB C charger since I can check the charge level as well it barely taking up extra space.

Both are available on Amazon. The Neewer batteries work well too.

The only versions I would skip are the ones with the built-in charge level meter (as there are outlier reports of draining).

The K&F are working without problem?

Yep, I've used them on a few full day shoots over 4 months and worked perfectly alongside the OE battery (about same life, no warnings).

My A7RV gives the warning with Neewer batteries but they are older batteries from a few years ago so that might explain why. 🤔

Neewers are as good as Sony ones fwiw op 👍
