Mountain Bluebirds
p.1 #1Mountain Bluebirds
The Mountain Bluebird is the state bird of Nevada. They return every winter to feast on the juniper berries in huge flocks. So much fun to hang out with and photograph. They were right next to a roadway so every time a car would come by they all took off, but quickly returned to the same area.

Thank you! We're finally warming up a little bit after being really cold and cloudy. Definitely happy to see the sun!

I really like the bookends, and that great contrast against the ever-browns helps them pop, heh.
