I have for sale a rather rare camera - It's a Leitz, Leicaflex SL "72 Olympics" silver chrome body #878/1000 with the box, manual and warranty card in 95% or Mint condition. Includes the box, manual, warranty card, body cap, and an MR-9 1.35v battery adapter so you can use standard silver oxide batteries in the camera.
To commemorate the Munich Olympics, Leica made a batch of 1,000 chrome finish Leicaflex SL with the Olympic logo on the front of the prism, followed by the number 72 and a progressive number (1 to 1000)
• Shutter Speeds seem accurate
• Self-Timer works but sticks occasionally
• Viewfinder has some slight prism desilvering, but totally usable as is
• Body is super clean, looks pretty much new
• Meter works and is responsive (seems reasonably accurate)
• Battery check/tester button works
All in all, a very nice, limited-edition piece. To make it near perfect, it could use a slight CLA, but it is totally usable as is.
