As previously mentioned, when I am not leading tours around the world, I can found in Yellowstone. It may be my favorite place in the USA due to the variety of wildlife. I love the grizzly bears the most, but other creatures catch my attention as well...such as the short-tailed weasel/stoat/ermine. In October they start turning white and without snow are much easier to spot, however they are still shy, elusive and incredibly quick and agile. The following photos were taken with the Canon R1 + RF 600mm f/4 + RF 1.4x
J have been all over the world trying to get pictures of wildlives big and small. These pictures of yours are some of the best. They are so cute and gentle. Thanks for showing.

Excellent shots! I looked through some of your other posts with the Yellowstone wolves and tigers of India. Are you primarily using the R1? Or a mix of the R1 and R5ii?
