This popped up on my YouTube feed.
To me, this looks like a pure AI fraud video pretending to show how Leica manufactures lenses. Amazing what they can do graphically. But they get so much other stuff wrong. I thought everyone might enjoy seeing it.

Lol the sound design. People love watching the manufacturing stuff. I used to watch How It's Made for days at a time. Usually they shoot for viewers leaving stuff like this on a background playlist on loop to make money.
For that you don't need too much fidelity or accuracy, just volume of output to feed the algo. Younger infant to children audience also targeted with the slop quality. But to be fair, AI slop predecessor of low quality high volume content was just as bad if not worse. So at least they'll have a better aesthetic standard ingrained.

This is definitely real. Look at the lens at 8:29. This is a limited production Leica made for the Mandalorians. I have been trying to get a hold of a copy for a while. Unfortunately, my Toyota's warp drive is in repairs. I can't make it out to Leica Concordia. Maybe next year.
