I went back out today to see if I could find the snowy. Fortunately there were a few other photographers already there so I did not have to look too hard. Today's location was much better and more scenic. I also grabbed my 800 in anticipation of actually seeing one of the snowy owls today as there are 3 in the area..
Both shots are awesome Tammy, I'd be proud to have taken either, but I think I like the second one best.
Looks like things got off to a "rocky" start but you ended up with some great pic's for your perseverance! (see what happens when you open the floodgate to dad jokes?)
