While helpful, my editing/gaming desktop can no longer handle whatever Adobe did to the latest denoise update.
If I run de-noise on ANY of my images, moving around the develop panel is painfully slow on those images after it completes. Moving around non de-noised images is totally fine. I have not found a fix yet, and have to denoise at the very end of my edits, then export. If I don't it's completely unusable.

Try creating a fresh dng file during the denoise process, to see how well the computer can handle that file. I suspect that the 3080Ti is just too slow to help much with denoising and even less useful if you are then following up with further parametric editing that could be repeating some of the denoise calculations.
Denoise is probably best done early because it was "trained" on raw camera file data rather than edited camera file data.
