p.1 #1 · Geiranger Fjord from Dalsnibba View point - Norway

Last year, I took an unforgettable road trip through Norway and visited Geiranger. The drive from Lom was spectacular, but the real magic started once I hit Route 63. The valley is so breathtaking that I found myself wanting to pull over at every single turn just to soak it all in.

I took a quick detour up to Dalsnibba (the Geiranger Skywalk), which offers Europe’s highest fjord view accessible by car. It is reached via a private road with a toll of around 40 USD, but the climb is well worth it to reach 1,500 meters above sea level. The experience was surreal—clouds drifted in and out, accompanied by brief rain showers. In those moments when the mist cleared, I caught stunning glimpses of the Geiranger fjord far below. Here are a few photos from that brief but memorable visit.

Thanks for viewing and welcome all CC

WOW! agree with Bill. What a drive with killer views. When zoomed in on route 63, it seems like there is very little shoulder space to pull over Amazing views from skywalk. What a trip man....lucky you

Beautiful set. The meandering road really shows the "vastness" of the area. Thank you for sharing

Thanks, you are so right I remember finding a spot to pullover and just walked around to enjoy the views. One has to take the time to drive on route 63.

Thanks 👍🏻 the last one with cruise ship was sheer luck as clouds just briefly opened up while the cruise ship was coming in.
