p.2 #1 · Geiranger Fjord from Dalsnibba View point - Norway
Incredible place. Driving through there is great fun, as you have to wait for all the ferries to take you across the fjords to the connecting roads. Fun fact I learned on the Geiranger ferry: there are farms up on the flat/meadow areas above the fjord. In the old days, you had to get to them by rope ladder. When the tax collector came around, they would just lift up the ladders, problem solved!

Those are beautiful, and from an incredible place. One question though - where to do Norwegian's who are fearful of heights live? I suffer from vertigo at places like this.

Agree, absolutely incredible place. Interesting fact Driving on route 63 was just an amazing experience. I did experience on few routes when there freeway continues via a car ferry ride.... quite cool and love the way they charge for it. Talk about cashless society! everything toll and ferry charge is done with a simple sticker in your rental.

Thanks Al, you are right....it's an incredible place and was a pure joy to visit. Good question based on Norway's performance at Milano Winter Olympics, Norwegians are can't be fearful of heights.
