I visited Kissena Park here in New York City wanting to do some small bird photography. I did not find many visiting the spots they usually feed and as I was leaving I checked one last spot and there were a bunch of White-throated sparrows there. I spent a while dealing with strong light or deep shadows.

Great images Morris. These sparrows are fun to catch and they are quite patient in my experience.
I like your use of the light, particularly in the first three photos.
