Bravo, I have been to Yellowstone many times in winter and spent my summers as a kid in Island Park near the West entrance of the park, even drove from Idaho Falls through the park three times a week delivering fruit and produce to the lodges. I have seen wolves several times from a mile away and had good a good view at a kill three years ago, but after sunset so photos were not the best. You have captures the essence of wolves and can thank your lucky stars. After living in Washington State for 50 years I am moving back to Idaho Falls February 1 , with my first mission to get images of wolves. Well done. Bruce

Fantastic! I've been to YS 8 times and have never gotten anywhere near this close to a wolf.
I been going and spending 5-7 months there for the last 5-6 years and this was the first year i've gotten anything like this....I do leave some for the wildlife tours i lead, i.e. uganda, tanzania, alaska, churchill. It's just right place right time, i spend a lot of time there day after day after day. My main focus is grizzly bears, but i had some really great wolf opportunities this year.
