I’ve been busy tying up loose ends, paying off outstanding PayPal debts
Wanted to go into 2026 with a clean slate
I know I’ve ruffled a lot of feathers on the forum… specifically the canon section 🤣
But there was never no malice, just a lot of pent up frustration on my part with the direction canon took.
My phone tells me I spent on average 4-5hrs everyday on forums and eBay.
That will change
Best wishes to everyone
Hope 2026 brings joy and happiness to us all
Take care
Nick 👍🏻
P.S my username Pixelpuffin was derived from the fact I struggled to keep up with this new digital era.

All the best for the new year
My User Name, "Sy sez" was derived from a childhood game I once played in the distant past and likely long-forgotten.
AI Overview:
"Simon Says is a classic children's game where one player, "Simon," gives instructions (e.g., "Simon says touch your nose") that others must follow, but only if the command starts with the phrase "Simon says". Players are eliminated for either failing to follow a "Simon says" command or for following a command not prefaced by the phrase, with the last player remaining becoming the next Simon. The game teaches listening, focus, self-regulation, and patience"
I too get frustrated at times with decisions made by Canon or other brands, but I've found it better to let go and try to move past the things I can't change. With fresh eyes (stripped of expectations), I sometimes find upside to things I initially disliked.
And also, there is nothing wrong with sticking with older gear that just works, regardless of what the manufacturers are doing. Resisting the forum peer pressure to have the latest / greatest is a skill I haven't really mastered, but I am trying.
