With all the Christmas activities, 'honey-do's', shopping, etc., it's been next to impossible to do much shooting lately.

Thanks, Douglas! Ollie's pretty much been the star of the show around here, ever since we got him a couple months back. He's pretty much a little clown.

Thanks, Karl. My wife purchases a number of these beautiful plants every Christmas to put out front in the garden. I love the way rain beads up on them and gives such a 'pearly' look. It make them look like they're covered in jewels.
I like the Shovelers too, but need to get out to photograph them when the sun is out.

Thanks for the comment, but actually Ollie is a Boston Terrier.
After our sweet 'BJ' passed, we knew we were simply to old to have another Boxer (after 20 years of nothing but Boxers). When we started taking about another dog that was considerably smaller, we both agreed that Boston Terriers are like 'micro-Boxers'. We are pleased as punch with Ollie -- he's small, intelligent, funny, and very active -- and he definitely was the right choice. He's about 4 mo.'s old now and went for his very first neighborhood walk this morning -- much different than being pulled down the street by an energetic Boxer.
We will always have a very special place in our hearts for Boxers -- they are the perfect breed for a younger family, especially with children.

Thanks for the comment. Schnauzers are one of my favorites. We used to have a Wheaton Terrier mix dog named 'Gremlin'. Whenever we would get him groomed, they always gave him a Schnauzer cut -- he would always seem so pleased with himself after getting his haircut.
Sorry to hear about Cosmo. Losing these sweet critters is one of the hardest things in life. Hopefully, Cosmo will get a 'second wind' and give you some extra time to love on him.
