I was the 1st person to try this camera. I have owned it for about 5-7 years but only used it 1-2 times to test it by with film. It was purchased new by the original owner many years ago, but my in not taken out of its box prior to that. Basically put away in storage. I was buying for myself, wasn’t planning on reselling it, otherwise i would not have taken it out. Everything operational, lovely, spot on exposures, working meter is a joy to have. Can use any M lens with it, compact size compared to M Leica bodies really helps.
Very pristine condition in matching box. The meter works fine because the camera is basically new.

Super clean SL2 Leica film camera with matching 50mm Summicron R lens with shade. The lens in this outfit is high quality that rivals or exceeds iits M cousin that found its niche and survived to today in its output. This lens was widely considered an advance over M Summicron it its day. The camera looks and feels certainly comparable or higher build quality as the M5 body that is the rangefinder variety comparable of its day (mid-1970's). I was told it was considered an advance over rangefinder and was marketed for more. Lens incudes a matching Leica hood.
Clean mint glass and bright view finder. Everything operational and barely used. No obvious imperfections to report. The camera feels very fresh. Cosmetics wise, there is a tiny dent (more like a faint scratch) on the back panel next to film crank advance that is not obvious but I wanted to mention it in the interest of full disclosure. Please see one of the photos. The price has been adjusted to reflect this. It would have been rated 9+ otherwise.
