p.1 #1 · X2D / X2D ii TTL Flash Trigger That Works $$$$
I know that Profoto has compatible flashes/transmitters for the X2D and X2D ii, but like many, I have many Godox flashes and just picked up the Godox Lux Master, which with the white dome, looks like a perfect flash for using the Hasselblads with large Zoom lenses that cast shadows. Unfortunately, the Godox X3N works in manual power mode, but not for TTL. I’ve sent my request for firmware updates to Godox and Hasselblad, perhaps others might have the same request.
To make things even a bit stranger, when I use my Godox V860ii, it works great as an on camera TTL flash.
The FUSION TLC Raven Flash Trigger for Nikon reportedly works with Hasselblad and Godox.

I received a reply from Godox letting me know that the X2D (ii) isn’t compatible with Godox Flashes. I’m confused, wasn’t that why I was requesting that they work on compatibility? Anyway.. no help on that front.
The Fusion TLC Raven claims (on FTLC website) to work in manual and TTL mode on the X2D, but my experience is that it works in manual, but not TTL. B&H reached out to Fusion TLC and were told that the Raven is not compatible with the X2Dii.
I’m primarily using the Godox Lux Master with the white dome with the longer telephoto lenses. Seems potentially to be a great combination.
BTW, the other Lux flashes work great. The Lux Senior works well with the vertical format of my Bronica RF645 and the Lux Jr is a great compact flash for 35mm and 6x7 non TTL cameras. Also, with the Godox hot shoe sensor the Lux Master works by setting the camera ISO and Aperture and choosing the same settings on the Lux Master. Great for my film cameras.

My final post on this thread..
I purchased the Profoto A2/Connect package and all works as advertised. I have an A11 flash coming tomorrow and some umbrellas. I then tried the Raven and it worked with the A2 in manual and TTL. So, for me, the advantage of the Raven is being able to control Godox and Profoto flash in manual only. The TTL Connect is very small, which I like. I’ll be returning the Raven in that I can control fixed manual setups at each strobe. I will say that the Raven’s display is very easy to use. It might be a good alternative to the larger Profoto triggers, but I’ve not tried them and there really isn’t value for me in owning the Raven when I can’t control (ie. Use TTL) multiple brands from the X2Dii. I suspect that this unit would work better with other camera brands…like a Nikon with this model of Raven.
