I received a reply from Godox letting me know that the X2D (ii) isn’t compatible with Godox Flashes. I’m confused, wasn’t that why I was requesting that they work on compatibility? Anyway.. no help on that front.
The Fusion TLC is overly expensive and a bit large, but seems to be easy to use and for my simple use, the Nikon version works with the X2D ii and Godox. Problem solved.. or maybe not.. still have more testing.
I’m primarily using the Godox Lux Master with the white dome with the longer telephoto lenses. Seems to be a great combination. I have a few other Godox TTL flashes and all should be easily controlled with the Raven.
BTW, the other Lux flashes work great. The Lux Senior works well with the vertical format of my Bronica RF645 and the Lux Jr is a great compact flash for 35mm and 6x7 non TTL cameras.
