Thank you Ross Martin for your terrific photos of GSMNP last year. My family had a trip all planned to go but my older son got sick and we had to cancel. Without your inspiration photos I wouldn't have remade the trip. It was so neat! Short, just Saturday to Tuesday and with my young family, but it was great. What an incredible place! The Foothills Parkway West was just astonishing. Apparently the first week of November is past-peak color? I think that's staggering. I've never seen such colors anywhere.
