This D810 works perfectly 99 percent of the time but occasionally the battery indicator just goes to dead battery. When you put a fresh battery in it still thinks it's dead. This has only happened to me when using third-party lenses. There is a workaround, you just have to let the internal capacitors etc discharge so that the camera resets itself. Unfortunately, this takes about 2 weeks. (Pressing buttons to discharge faster seems to help) I asked Nikon support and they just said to make sure you use fully charged batteries and don't let them go too low. This is a great backup/second /third /eighth body but it is not reliable enough for anything important. The battery error has not occured in the last month at all. Shutter count 220k. Free shipping. Includes battery and charger but does not include lens.
