Well another thread turned to shit.
Seems like Canon is not the system for you, move on. Lot's of good choices out there today. FYI they will all have pros and cons, so pick what best fits your needs.
Take a peek at the post your best 5 shots thread, this proves at least to me that all the systems can get outstanding results. No need to be in this constant state of anger, unhappiness etc. with a system. Move on and find your happiness. .
Lately there has been so many post hating on Canon, not sure why myself. Also noticed similar post in all the other brands too. Why? We get to use some of the best gear ever made and they all deliver.
Personally I love the lens lineup I have, best since I have been with Canon. Some of the best glass hands down I have ever used. The 24-105 and the 70-200mm Z versions are just amazing, love them for video. The quality and speed with extenders is simply outstanding.
RF 400mm f2.8
100-300mm
24-105 f2.8 Z
70-200mm f2.8 Z
85 f1.2
15-35 f2.8
100mm macro
The R1 just delivers, the 24 MP works for me and is an issue that is just so over blown. The R1's EVF is the best I have ever used, this camera just does not miss. There are amazing programs out there if you really need your files to be much larger.
The C50 is another really nice piece. This allows people like my self to dabble in the Cinema lineup without breaking the bank.
Personally I am very happy in the ECO system, sure are there some things I would like different and change. I believe that would be with all systems I got into. I most likely will get called a fanboy again which really is not the case. I just have the opinion that they make some of the best in the world and I am very appreciative that I can afford to play at the top tier levels.
I have the luxury of having friends I shoot with that are full Sony and full Nikon shooters. So I get to try out all the new gear they buy. All 3 systems are very good and would recommend any of them based on your personal wants and needs.
But for the love of god can we just stop complaining about everything Canon does.
Now back to things related to the C50 please. Let's refrain on posting on how much you hate it post.

I see there are some misunderstandings and frustration in your last post, so I want to stress that no harm has been done by my criticism. I'm well aware of the equipment available in the past as well as what's on the market today. I could easily list major issues with Sony gear, but as a Canon user, my goal is for Canon to address these problems to the benefit of all users. Without open, honest criticism, that won’t happen.
I don't have an emotional attachment to any brand; I use whatever works best for me. My opinion is based on long hands-on experience, which often contrasts with those formed from just a few days of use or from “reviews” that don’t always reflect real-world performance. There’s no reason to label someone a "fanboy" just because of his preference. The word describes a person who offers an emotional, rather than a rational response. Lastly, there’s something to be said about "value for money," which should always be a factor.
I hope you'll take my post in that context and see it from a different perspective.
Merry Xmas & A Happy New Year to all forum members.
