Obijime cords are used to secure the obi (or sash) of the kimono. These cords are typically made of silk. The straps for sale were made by cutting the appropriate length and sewing the ends to avoid fraying. The leather parts are glued and sewn for optimum strength. Brass split rings are used.
The straps are priced based on the design and condition of the obijime cord. Prices are net of fees but include shipping within the US.
