Happy Turkey Day. I hope you enjoy some good food and time with the people who make you feel at home. Days like this always remind me to slow down, step back from the viewfinder, and appreciate what we have. There is so much to be grateful for, and this community of photographers is a big part of that. The support, generosity, creativity, and inspiration you all bring here means more than you know.
And for those who celebrate with faith, a reminder from Scripture that fits today perfectly:
"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His faithful love endures forever".
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Be well, be grateful, and enjoy the day.

Thank you, Fred, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! Thank you for sharing that beautiful scripture, what a great reminder on this day. And for the inspiration of your beautiful Yosemite image as well.
Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow FM’rs! I’m grateful for this community. I’m celebrating alone today at a desert campground a couple thousand miles from home. I miss being with family, but I’m grateful to have been on a much-needed long photography trip and am filled with gratitude for the beauty I was led to see and savor these last few months.
A very happy, memorable and safe Thanksgiving to the entire FM community. There are many things we all should be thankful for, but especially family, friends and loved ones and those that we hold near and dear. It's also a time to think of those who may be less fortunate, fallen on difficult times or maybe facing a serious health related issue. Where possible, try to say or send a kind thought or maybe offer to help.out. It's the little things that count the most.

Thank you! You not alone today. As you capture the beauty around you, know that we will share in your joy when you bring those images back to us!

You’re right, Fred! 🙂. I didn’t realize I had the tunnel view hoodie on! My favorite scene on the planet. Thanks for the kind words. Have a happy day with that beautiful family of yours. 👊🏻
