I will try to do some wider aperture comparisons, once I get the Voigtlander APO-Lanthar 28/2. It will probably be the CV, Sigma 28-45 and the Simera...and maybe the Loxia 25 even though it's a bit wider.

Yeah, I agree. I was expecting to see the fence go into and out of focus, and that the snow would give something on which to judge sharpness. So it was a quick shoot before I had to get the plastic sheathing back on my porch project and shovel the snow before it froze solid. (It did on the streets, which are now skating rinks.)
Also, these are straight out of the camera. (No color adjustment.) They were underexposed to hold the highlights and bumped up a little with levels just to give a "normal" looking brightness.
