Hi everyone! I'm just coming back to FM after a long hiatus, and it took me by surprise that Nikon seems to dominate the "For Sale" forum for photography equipment. I now shoot Canon, but was a longtime Nikon user until I decided to go mirrorless. I love Nikon, and have flirted with the idea of giving them another try, but I'm too heavily invested in Canon at this point for that to make sense (and TBH, I love my Canon gear!).
I'm curious why Nikon seems to dominate the For Sale forum. Is it because FM happens to attract a lot of Nikon users for some reason? Or are Nikon users upgrading to other brands like I did? Like I said, I'm a Nikon fan, so not trying to pit one brand against another - they are all amazing. Just curious why Nikon items seem to be over-represented compared to their market share.
How did you conclude that Nikon is dominating? I just glanced at the first page of the Forasle forum and noticed more Canon listed than Nikon. I wouldn't say that one brand dominates; it seems to vary back and forth depending on the timing

You do know that the gear listed on the first page of the B&S Forum changes every couple of hours don't you?
