p.1 #1 · L Mount medium telephoto recommendations??
Hi All,
Buying back into L mount with an SL2-S and looking for a zoom lens to hold me over before buying back into the APO-SL prime lenses. I have had the Leica SL 24-90 lens before and love it but would like to make that purchase later down the road, so I was considering the new-ish Sigma 28-105, the Sigma 24-70mm or 28-70mm. I was also looking at the Panasonic 24-105mm macro and the f/4 aperture would be fine for my needs.
I was not really considering the Leica 24-70 or 28-70 as I would rather have the 24-90 if paying above the price of the Sigma lenses. I like having 24 at the wide end and 90 at the long end as I like to do landscapes (that is why a 2.8 aperture is a nice to have but not most important -and- 105mm is a plus). So all that said, I think I am between the Sigma 28-105, Sigma 24-70mm or the Panasonic 24-105mm.
Maybe the question is why not get the Panasonic lens, but I don't see that many reviews of it. Appreciate input from the L mount gurus out there!
