The foliage is both great and a problem as it adds interest and shows the lovely fall environment. On the right side there are a number of very bright yellow leaves that are a huge distraction. If you don't mind editing your images you could darken them or remove them. Replacement via cloning or AI fill is another option. A totally different approach would be a tighter crop leaving those leaves out of the image.
Beautiful buck. If there was one place on earth I could be in the fall it would be in the Midwest watching bucks like this fella. Watched deer all over the country but there is something magical about the Midwest this time of year. Owned a farm in W. KY and there was nothing like it when they started "chasin".
He's so crisp and well frozen he almost looks stuffed, heh, let's hope that never happens to the handsome fella. Super nice grab, especially with the fall colors.
Thanks for the input everyone. I went back and cropped a little more and did some more noise scrubbing. This seems a little better to me consider the 8000 iso.
Beautiful image, I love how it shows the swollen neck that happens during the rut. I do like the tighter crop since it makes the buck more prominent and the area on the right of the tree does not add much to the scene to my eye. Overall a great image and would bet that the buck would like to have it hanging on his wall. Bruce
I will be the odd man out, as I like the first best and would have only cropped out the blur on the right edge. The cropped version looks over-sharpened and over-saturated to me.
