After many months of shooting at the same pond you start becoming familiar with some of the wildlife habits, at least to some degree. At one of the ponds that I visit quite frequently I found that the majority of the Wood ducks congregated in one specific location. It�s funny that they tend to gather in this one spot each morning, spending most of their time grooming themselves or sleeping, but by mid-morning they are gone to other parts of the pond.
On this morning, I was fortunate to have caught them all there before they left and was able to get a few shots.
