Mac Studio from this year. I can print to the P900, but in LRC I can't see any print profiles to select
I've installed and uninstalled the printer in the Apple menu a few times/
There is no driver on the US site, but I did find one on the UK site ? I downloaded it.
One time I got the Epson Media Installer to open and selected the papers I wanted and downloaded them. They still didn't appear in LRC?
Now I can't get Media Installer to open, it flashes a message about a missing printer driver, though I've installed the UK one and installed the printer from the Apple menu
The one time I was able to open Epson Media was when I added the printer in the Apple Add Printer menu as a P900 with an (IP) at the end of the name, the other P900 listed as Bonjour.
I don't see the (IP) option anymore.
Printer is up to date on Firmware
Oddly, I had to switch to a Chrome browser to even get the Epson Page to work right and display the software. Safari just hung there after being told the Mac OS version.
What the heck is going on? I've never had this much problem with installing something on a MAC. How do I get the paper profiles to appear?

Wait for someone to chime in more knowledgeable than me but in the past every time I did an os update I had to copy the profiles back into the library/application support folder.

I just thought it was weird that there is NO DRIVER on the US site, but there is one on the UK site? Also the Media program is a different version in the UK??
Mac stuff is usually so plug and play…. I even uninstalled and installed everything again. No joy.

I am a bit surprised that Epson did not have a P900 driver ready when Tahoe was released. Poor form.
Have your tried the driver from the last OS to see if the P900 is recognized so you can get by until Epson has proper support for Tahoe?
Such issues is one of the reaons that when Apple releases OS version X, is when I upgrade to OS version X-1. Keep me out of a lot of trouble
As far as why the UK or Europe has a driver and the US does not. Well it turns out the hardware/firmware is a bit different so I suspect that driver needs to be different as well. Here is a short summary of why there is a difference (ink cartridges):
The Epson P900 has versions specific to the UK and Europe, which can be identified by the printer's motherboard and firmware. These versions are designed to work with the region's specific ink cartridge chips and are not cross-compatible with the US versions, which have a locked-down motherboard that prevents the use of third-party or refilled inks.
I have tried Euorpe versions of drivers in the past with no joy.

I got that loaded, still no drivers for Tahoe, had to use the older one.
The issue is that in LRC, when I go under color management , profile and try to pick a paper, it is empty.
I have the Eopson Media software, but when I try to save the media type under the Media Management tab, when I try to save it library profiles areas, I get a failure. I can save them to my desktop, but they are EMX files?
In LRC under "Print settings" button, under Printer options, Color matching, If I select ColorSync, I can select a paper profile.
I still can't when under Print Job on the right, when I click on Managed by printer...

They finally started showing up. What I did do is download a Red River ICC file and put it in the Epson-PRinter2 folder and the ColorSync folder. Now the Epson ones show up and I've added them. TOTALLY WEIRD.
What you describe reminds me of issues I encountered in the past with other epson Printers (ET-8800 and 8850). The problem was that MacOS installed them as "AirPrint" printers and was showing a less functional print dialog box instead. The work around I found was to first install the driver (weird it is not on the US site) and then to add the printer, using the driver I just installed. Then, MacOS would propose to turn it into an AirPrint printer and I would need to select "No thanks, please never ask again" and that was done.
