I happened to see this pair while I was driving about / scouting, and managed to roll down the window and comment on how nice his dog looked.
Serendipity was my friend, as later that day, I happened to run across them on the grounds of the Arch. So, I managed the bravado to dare ask if I could get a pic. WAY out of my comfort zone, but such a beauty, and since the chance came around, I figured I'd give it a go.
I'm mostly glad to see that the guy was happy to oblige.
My historic track record with folks on the street is abysmal beyond measure ...
