This street vendor agreed to pose for me. They are really tough people. I had a sense I shouldn't get on their bad side. They were also the most charming people at the fair. I think most were from Rajasthan. In fact, genetic analysis has revealed that most of the Roma of Europe are descendants of people from the two Indian provinces: Rajasthan and Gujarat. I find that fascinating!
Fantastic capture — I completely agree with you. They live a tough life, yet they remain remarkably resilient and content. They’ve truly mastered the art of surviving and finding happiness.

Thanks. It brings to mind the concept of karma, and how we all have a specific fate to live out.

I have always thought of the females in India as a robust, tough, group of individuals, Charley, how many snaps of her did you get?
Douglas
I got a couple of snaps. This one is my favorite, but the hand on her belly looks strange.
