Regarding the battery, rechargeables typically hold a lot less charge than disposables. I think the Lomo battery was rated at 300mAh, which is next to nothing.
I went out w my Nikon F6 yesterday. It had rechargeable CR123s in it. They had been it for a while - I store the camera w them in in order to maintain the custom settings - but still showed full charge on the lcd display. Went from full charge to replace batteries now in four shots!
So yeah, the fact that the Lomo’s rechargeable battery only lasted three rolls means little.

Those batteries are tiny, I'd just throw a spare or two in my pocket if I knew I was going to be shooting all day, and not worry.

Not a real review yet, but a real unboxing video: ?si=arMup-WK_khdUbLW
It really looks like Lomo have put a lot of effort into this. If the user reports are good I'm getting one. I'm looking forward to the end of the Contax T2 hype and will be happy to see their prices drop to $150 where they belong.

First reviewer to do some good proper ASMR recordings. Clickly clicky buzz!
The camera seems very sweet. I noticed that the manual focus settings were hard clicks i.e. you cannot set it between zones.
The only thing I wish it has is a hot shoe. But that is nitpicking, I love what Lomo has done here.
They can legit become the big player in 35mm photography with this. If the experts here at FM cough ottokbre cough give it the thumbs up, I can see using this more than an M or any of my other 35mm cameras.

Who actually is making this camera for Lomo?
If they can do this, how can Leica not create a new CM/Minilux? That would have hit far harder than the new MP I mean M6.
And if Lomo can do it for $549, Leica could have done it for $3000......
Part of me thinks it is somewhat related to the Rollei 35 AF and/or Pentax 17. The scale focusing system is similar to the Pentax 17 in how it operates by wire vs being mechanical.
Both seemed to lay framework for making a new modern point and shoot camera
